Deaf, Dumb, and Blind

You were born to rock the world
In my soul the dying notion
In my living will you whirl
Jesus set my mind in motion

Jesus, do my speaking for me
He says Listen -- do the same
Hear me I am human only
of the God to whom you came

I am near while you are sleeping
Never slumber while you sleep!
All night long for ever and ever
counting every goat and sheep

Be my slave awake to freedom
What I tell you sets you free
Hear I say I see I need him
That's the truth we say must be..

Assuredly, The Day of the Lord

Hey, I got assurance but it ain't from Henry Ford
O, boy, born again - O, boy I heard from Rev. Ward
Actually, the pianist was instrumental when
we kneeeeled on the day of the Lord

Yeh, Ms. Miller still excites me in her holy kind of way
Hair buns not stuck up and her dresses never sway
We're gonna watch our Prince strike his Stratocaster chords
dwelling R.I.P. in the day of the Lord

Assurance ain't insurance sought against consuming fire
Assurance ain't through Rome or Illinois or their desire
Assurance ain't an ambiance in church, a rattling sword
neither in this moment nor the day of the Lord

Assurance, it is blessss-ed on the day of the Lord
Yesterday, today, forever Love won't be ignored
Unless your mind's on something else you're trying to afford,
right now, it's on the day of the Lord..

The New World Building

The instant of the world stabs a light year of the heart
The wind off soldier fields blows, the buckshot tears apart
The mind off love is centered on experience by a smile
Speeding bullets freezing rains Chicago Mafioso style

Trysting Noel Levitz jewels diamond Sally Mae
Fine artwork Al Capone and Frankie love let Brando say
Near Lawrence spins Arabia in twisting growing brains
Synthetic gods turn fiscal jars formaldehyde the rain

Curly Larry Moses bleeding black birds fill his head
Four sheets to the wind on fire by Ayn Rand he bred
Gold and golden years a flash blew brilliance so dirt cheap
Heaven fits his handiwork but faith lets go and takes a leap

I jetted up the street due North Hell its furious son
Burn tender ears of summer corn Smoking water on the run
Please, elevator take me up where one man went before
in light years all one instant now long hidden in the Lord...

Slave King

Who elevates the slave from the last to first to be?
Over much preside! Go care for people, well?
Freedom from our down side tied to selfish slavery
The up side bring our Savior with more angels, Gabriel!

Where the throne is occupied, mercenaries climb the walls
and violate with force our kingdom praising competition
Does Elway's helicopter ever touch down where we fall?
Recruitment mimes assemble Bowlen's blinding super vision

Goose step six degrees through separation mixed with fission
Tightening spiral circles bring a hellfire sermon on them
Comes the Prince of Darkness preaching make a wise decision
Goes round and round their systematic mayhem

Where debtor markets full to empty wealth funds go
hobos hop the grain train back to hunger
with crushing debt from college where they charge us not to know
or say they make us slaves.. Especially the younger..

Who elevates the slave from the last to first to be?
Over much preside! Go care for people, well?
Freedom from our down side tied to selfish slavery
The up side bring our Savior with more angels, Gabriel!

Occupraxis

Down an axis intersects the globe too big to fail
fed up exponential anonymity
Gold at the end of the rainbow's rail
Nazi slices cold Atlas humanity

Up an axis in some Bob Marley heads
Spins about a per cent of the world
so far over and above us Jesus says
Near stars from which some angels were hurled

Now they wander cross the college up the highway
Sweet Sara Lees Coca Cola buzzing tweets
alcoholic Yah I gotta do it my way
The less you work at all the more starvation eats

Trickling down from heights around heaven
over border line fantastic ecstasies
Cruising greyhounds from the Garden to a Seven Eleven
by the welfare building rich in bankruptcies

Some with Jesus hungering for Isaiah's world
Ninety and nine per cent their shepherd always knew
Some swine driven off in search of each others pearls
Falling angels crash into a chosen few

At the bottom of it out my boarded windows
the prairie ebb and flowin' as has been
Moving poor - if you look like me maybe you will see
shadow figures on the excess winds
Dancing shadow figures racing Indians

What are we doing in this country?

O Jesus say come to me now who labor mud and righteousness
Rise The bloody river touches God redeem your blessedness
Yahweh Jesus slow stoop low now Save us in our love and dyin'
Breaking peoples' Please You know It is Our pain they're multiplyin'

Bull flicks quick in Ramses hand the golden cup of wine
Her sickening pace is quickening Pharoahs step it up on down the line
where Momma buckles down I hear her prayer knees givin' 'way
Daddy buckles down big brown bags muddy bloody river clay

Blocks and tackles Astrolabes Rigging Booming inch by inch Jibs
lackin' grease Hear Pops near crackin' Snap like toothpick lumber Ribs
Rolling stones Tons Heavy star tracks drippin' Devil sympathy
Help us Jesus Angels Moses Work through our hegemony

Prove our split is without shame Hell Thebes be routed through the sea
Moses Fling the kingdom down Pops Faith in God brings victory
Let us fold our hands and pray Pops Jesus Angels Moses One
There Alone upon the throne rock Pharoah and his only son
All alone Upon the throne rock Pharoah and his only son
